Fans were upset at an Instagram story post he made.
@dmofxxkinarkOn November 8th, rapper D.Ark posted a picture of Pop Smoke's 2021 album 'Faith'. However, the album cover had a disclaimer stuck on the front which stated that people under 19 years of age cannot listen. This is due to explicit content on some of the tracks.
The controversy stems from the fact that D.Ark was born in 2004 and is therefore 17 years old. Due to backlash, the rapper temporarily deactivated his Instagram account. However, international fans seemed to think that the strong criticism was unprompted, as many took to Twitter to express their support for D.Ark.
He has since reactivated his Instagram account.
