In an Instagram post, Ambition Musik revealed that rapper Don Malik will be joining the company.
Ambition Musik was founded by Dok2 and The Quiett in 2016 and was a sub-label of Illionaire Records until 2020 when Illionaire Records became defunct. It is home to many popular artists on the scene such as Changmo, Ash Island, Keem Hyo-eun, and more. The label also won the "Label of the Year" award at the 2020 Korea Hip-Hop Awards.
After debuting with Daze Alive Music in 2014, Don Malik parted ways with the company in 2018. He then began to work with THECUT (distributed by Stone Music Entertainment) and released his first full length album in 2020 titled "MALIK THE CACTUS FLOWER".
Alongside the news of Don Malik's joining, Ambition Musik also revealed that that he will be releasing a full-length album titled "PAID IN SEOUL". It will be available on streaming platforms at 6pm (KST) on October 19th. Two songs from the album have been pre-released in a collaboration with Dingo FreeStyle - the track names are "Not an ambition" and "Be a pro".
