After having teased the identity of the artist with a childhood photo, it has finally been revealed as to who will be joining H1GHR MUSIC.
JMIN, full name Jonathan Min, is a rapper originally from Florida but who moved to Los Angeles in his teens. He rose to fame in 2018 after gaining some success with his single "Spaceship". It was released on the hip-hop podcast channel "No Jumper" which primarily focuses on underground rappers and influencers.
Spaceship · JMINHe has collaborated with some artists already in the Korean music scene such as CAMO and Yuzion. He featured not only on the track but also in the music video for CAMO's song "Life is Wet", which currently has over 6 million views on YouTube.
It is reported that Jay Park recognised JMIN's potential while JMIN visited Korea. As well as joining the label, it has also been announced that the artist will release an EP that will include a variety of genres.
We look forward to seeing JMIN flourish in this respected agency, and we're excited to see what his EP with H1GHR MUSIC will hold.
