Colde announced the creation of his label and revealed that producer and DJ Minit would be the first to sign.
@minitbyminitOn his Instagram, Colde announced that he would be establishing PYRAT. This is Colde's third label - he is also CEO of WAVY and Layered Island. WAVY is home to many talented artists such as Ahn Byeong Woong, Jiwoo, Khakii and APRO, and its focus is on letting the musicians have creative freedom. PYRAT follows a similar theme of the other two labels, which both relate to the sea, however, this label will be used to showcase a new and different sound.
Minit debuted in 2018 under Otodayo Records and has since released several collaborative albums with AVOKID, 123, and Skinny Brown. The producer also worked with JJANGYOU, Chaboom and Legit Goons crew member Bassagong on the single 'The Guys'.
Alongside the news of his signing, it has also been revealed that Minit will be releasing an EP on February 6th titled 'BLUE'. '#2021' featuring AVOKID and BIG Naughty has already been pre-released, however the other track titles have now been shared on a post via Instagram. At present, all featuring artists remain secret but the title tracks are '반복' and 'Blossom'.
