Following his negative response to followers who criticised him for not boycotting Starbucks, and therefore supporting the genocide happening in Palestine, Rad Museum is now dealing with backlash.
On February 10th, Rad Museum posted a story on Instagram where he is seen drinking Starbucks coffee. In light of the Palestine-Israel war, several companies are on a boycott list for supporting or profiting from the genocide that Palestine is currently experiencing, with Starbucks included on this list. Fans of Rad Museum attempted to educate the artist about the situation; however, his response to the criticism was negative.
Rad Museum posted a series of Instagram stories expressing dissatisfaction with fans' disapproval and requested not to impose opinions on him. He also suggested that fans unfollow him if they do not wish to see his content. Furthermore, he explained that while he is aware of the genocide, he does not believe that consuming Starbucks coffee directly supports the brand or the violence occurring. The artist stated that he will continue drinking whatever he wants. Rad Museum commented on the criticism he is facing:
“All the criticism and abuse you send to an individual, hateful blood photos in a coffee cup, and ridicule of me and my family are also violence”

To stand the point, the artist also created a story highlight on his Instagram account, which included all the stories he posted relating to matter, and titled it “ Cancel Culture”. The highlight was deleted shortly.
The disappointment of fans spread through X. Netizens on the platform consider Rad Museum’s response to be problematic and uneducated. Several X users pointed out how the artist compared guilt of consuming meat and wearing leather to violence against people. Netizens also found him saying that the genocide happening is “taking place in a far enough country” ignorant.
Additionally, a number of fans on X shared that they were blocked by the artist on Instagram.
