On April 22nd, SPOTV News reported that Simon Dominic has made the decision to terminate his contract with AOMG. The label representative responded to the announcement explaining that AOMG is in the process of concluding the final details regarding Simon’s contract. It was confirmed that both the label and the artist reached a mutual agreement to part ways back in February.

Simon Dominic spent 10 meaningful years with AOMG as one of the main leading figures within the label. Joining the company in 2014 as a co-CEO, Simon worked alongside founder Jay Park, and stayed in this position until 2018. After stepping down from the role of co-CEO, Simon continued his work with AOMG as solely a rapper. During his time with the label, Simon released a studio album, an EP and a number of singles. The rapper took part in many significant projects with his label friends, collaborating on songs like “119 REMIX”, “MOMMAE” and “TTFU” to name a few.

In addition to his music career, the 40-year-old is also known for participating in a number of television shows, as both guest or a judge, such as “I Live Alone”, “Show Me The Money”, “High School Rapper”, “The Masked Talent” and others.

It is a period full of change for AOMG. The news about Simon’s departure came not long after the label’s CEO, DJ Pumkin, and fellow artists Gray, Lee Hi, Woo Won Jae, and Goosebumps, departed from the agency back in March. Once again, the fans are left wondering about the future of AOMG and their artists.
