Wayside Town's Jayci yucca has now signed to Colde's newest label, 'PYRAT'.
@jayci_yuccaJayci yucca debuted under WYSD in 2018, and during his music career he has frequently collaborated with other Wayside Town crew members such as Skinny Brown and TOIL. The rapper originally began posting music on SoundCloud, which is where he developed a following, with his songs 'Back Then', 'Money On My Mind (ft. Skinny Brown)' and 'Winter Is For Snow (prod. TOIL)' cumulatively having over a million streams. He is joining Minit and PATEKO, who also recently signed to PYRAT.
To commemorate his joining the label, Jayci yucca released the single 'Black Eye (ft. Gist) (prod. SLO)'. Its upbeat backing and catchy chorus highlight his talent and speaks well for any further ventures he may have under the new agency.
PYRAT is Colde's third label - he is also the CEO of WAVY and Layered Island. The R&B singer opened the label in February, reportedly to showcase a new sound. We are hoping this new label with thrive with its latest members, and we look forward to seeing more of Jayci yucca's music in the future as he develops as an artist.
